CETEST is testing new Alstom units in India for Kochi Metro

Building on the collaboration with the French manufacturer Alstom in its Asian projects, last June CETEST has been testing the new Metro units for Indian city Kochi.

CETEST has moved to Alstom’s factory in Sri City (India) its portable test benches for the rotational resistance tests (X-factor tests) for bogie to body characterization. This test has been supervised by the final customer. DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) is helping them thanks to their experience in Metro projects. CETEST has already worked with DMRC for Delhi Metro (CAF) and Jaipur Metro (Indian manufacturer BEML).

CETEST strategy involves flexibility and portability of its test services. The final aim is to help time and risk to its customers, by performing the main tests in the manufacturer or final customer facilities.
