Óscar Vázquez has been appointed President in the last General Assembly of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Spain. The Spanish engineer, who currently chairs Bombardier Spain, has held several positions of responsibility in the company, both in Spain and in England, Austria, Singapore and Switzerland, as a member of the management committees of a large part of the divisions of Bombardier Transportation.
Óscar Vázquez thanked the chamber’s assembly for their confidence in him. In this new role, the current Managing Director of the country and Chairman of the Board in Bombardier Spain will represent and promote bilateral relations, as well as strengthening trade links between Canada and Spain.
Vázquez has also had words of thanks for Alberto Echarri, who he replaces and who took stock of his ten years of management at the head of this body.
