Ardanuy Ingeniería is currently developing a tool to optimise ADIF’s maintenance infrastructure

Ardanuy Ingeniería, in collaboration with Ines Ingenieros Consultores, and Plain Concepts, is developing an advanced analytical tool to assist ADIF in their decision-making process, thus allowing them to better distribute resources.

The objective of this innovative tool is to enable the economic optimisation in terms of trying to maintain infrastructure, track, signalling installations, energy (overhead contact lines, substations and high voltage lines), protection and safety facilities and telecommunications infrastructure. The solution can be applied to all areas related to preventive work and asset renewal. The project is based on the use of artificial intelligence (optimisation algorithms and predictive machine learning models) applied to its databases.
