CAF T&E is leading the comprehensive project of the Tel Aviv new Light Rail Purple Line

NTA (Metropolitan Mass Transit Systems) has chosen the transport consortium made up of the CAF Group and the construction firm Shapir for the Tel Aviv LRV Purple Line.

The new line will cover 27 kilometres connecting a planned total of 45 stations and will also include a depot where maintenance work will be carried out on the fleet of vehicles.

CAF Turnkey & Engineering is in charge of the comprehensive management of the new Purple Line of the Tel Aviv Light Rail, it will also work on the design, technical management, integration management and construction management of tramway systems and subsystems, in addition to maintaining its infrastructure for a period of 25 years. CAF T&E will also supply and install the traffic light and control systems, energy and communications.
