Digitalisation, sustainability and liberalisation, keys to a carbon-free future

THE MAIN REPRESENTATIVES OF THE INTERNATIONAL RAILWAY SECTOR MEET IN MALAGA FROM 29th NOVEMBER TO 1st DECEMBER IN A NEW EDITION OF RAIL LIVE!

 This year, Malaga will be in charge of hosting the main representatives of the railway sector from 29th November to 1st December in the railway event of the year.

Rail Live! 2022 arrives at the Andalusian city under the slogan “Digitalisation, sustainability and liberalisation. How to achieve a future with zero-carbon emissions”.

An  event that brings together all the essential stakeholders of the railway industry responsible for promoting investment and digital transformation in the railway world.

Just like every year, Rail Live! is organised by Terrapinn in collaboration with the Spanish Railway Industry Association (Mafex). On this occasion, attendees will be able to enjoy 250 speakers and 100 exhibitors who will show their railway services and innovations helping them to find solutions to streamline their operations.

Both the exhibition and the conference will showcase all the innovation in civil engineering, construction, machinery, rolling stock… At the same time, the event will bear in mind how revolutionary technologies such as AI, ERTMS, ATO or BIM are being applied in the railway industry, with new results for operators, infrastructure managers, railway megaprojects and their industry partners.

Extensive institutional support

As in previous editions, it has the support of numerous collaborating entities such as the Railway Infrastructure Administrator – Adif, Renfe Operadora, ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, the Spanish Railway Foundation (FFE), the Spanish Railways Technological Platform (PTFE), The Regional Government of Andalusia, Málaga City Council and Málaga Metro.

Conference

From digital transformation to freight transport, Rail Live! will explore all aspects of the railway industry. The highest positions of administrations, institutions and representatives of the international sector will debate in Málaga on the present and future of the railway in six different summits over three days.

The conference will focus on how technology and additive manufacturing are being applied in the railway industry, with revolutionary new results for operators, infrastructure managers, railway megaprojects and their industry partners.
