ICON Multimedia’s Passenger Information System is now operational in the recently inaugurated central lobby of Chamartín Station in Madrid. ICON is actively participating in the digital transformation of ADIF infrastructures by integrating its digital passenger experience platform to facilitate the users’ transit through the station.
The new service in the central lobby (underground facilities), has information on the connection between platforms and from these to the Metro as a result of the great commitment to multimodality. It is part of a modern and extensive infrastructure, within a global project that encompasses all the station’s facilities. The aim is to double the high-speed capacity and position itself as a strategic node for mobility, sustainability, and connectivity.
