Indra will collaborate with the UITP’s first sustainable mobility innovation center

Indra CEO Ignacio Mataix and David Pérez, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructures of the Community of Madrid, have signed Indra’s collaboration agreement with the UITP’s Innovation and Training Center for Sustainable Mobility and Public Transport in Spain, created by the Madrid Regional Transport Consortium. Set up in 2019, it’s the UITP’s first innovation center in the world, which it adds to its two existing training centers in Singapore and Dubai.

As one of the world’s leading companies in the mobility and transport sector, Indra will contribute its technological capabilities and experience to the activity of the center, which is seeking to become an international benchmark for research and training and the development of integrated and sustainable multi-modal transport as well as a laboratory of ideas and an incubator of innovation-related projects.
