INGEROP’s commitment to a responsible future

por Julian

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and companies have a crucial role to play. INGEROP, as a leader in engineering and consultancy, is at the forefront of this fight, integrating sustainable practices into its projects.
Among other measures, INGEROP has defined carbon footprint and resilience measurement indicators, which are calculated at the beginning of each project and result in a ‘climascore’ between A and E to assess the project’s performance, offering the possibility of implementing certain improvements during the project’s life cycle. These indicators will define the guidelines to improve the design and thus contribute to a further decarbonisation of the proposed solution.
In order to provide durable solutions, the level of climate resilience of the project is also studied in order to assist in decision making, reinforcing the resilience of the project and minimising potential impacts due to climate risks.
The regular use of these indicators will create a database and an observatory of INGEROP Group’s practices on environmental issues and will allow us to prepare for the new extra-financial reporting obligations of companies and the European green taxonomy.
Sustainability is not just a trend; it is a necessity. This is why INGEROP has taken a proactive approach, not only by reducing its carbon footprint, but also by reducing its carbon footprint.
