Lantania renovates the tramway network in the centre of Lodz and Torun in Poland

Lantania and its subsidiary Balzola carry out the restoration of the tram line in the historic center of the city of Lodz, in Poland. Work to which they add the construction of a tram line in Torun, also in the Central European country.

The two companies are renovating a 4.2 km long line in the heart of Lodz with unpaved pavements and stone paving. They are also building the catenary and all underground networks.

In the city of Torun, a tramway line is being built together with the infrastructure accompanying the development of the Jar area. They will demolish the road and tramway superstructure and build a double tramway line over a length of 3.5 km together with its electrification and stations. The project continues with the extension of the line to the Jar C. area where they will build a double line over a length of 1,200 metres, its electrification and stations, as well as a final junction for the change of direction of the tram units.
