EL PROYECTO STARS, DONDE MAFEX FORMA PARTE DEL CONSORCIO, PRETENDE APOYAR A LAS PYMES DEL SECTOR EN LA IMPLANTACIÓN DE TECNOLOGÍAS AVANZADAS, DANDO UN IMPULSO EN TEMAS DE RENDIMIENTO PRODUCTIVO Y AUMENTANDO LA CAPACIDAD DE INNOVAR DE LAS PYMES.
Last February, the STARS project held its 4th face-to-face meeting in Valenciennes (France). Between 28th February and 1st March, work was carried out on the technical and business support services that the project will provide to the participating SMEs under the guidance of the Technology Centres and Clusters that make up the project consortium.
The support is built into the activities included in the project that aim to help SMEs in the railway sector in the implementation of Advanced Technologies, giving them a boost in terms of productive performance and increasing the ability of SMEs to innovate.
The awards ceremony of the second edition of the Hack & Match organised by the project, which was focused on the theme “Big data for railway processes, products and services” also took place during these days. An edition that had the participation of 4 member companies of Mafex and that had as winner the Italian company TE.SI. FER.
Finally, the facilities of the Railenium and Transallay Technology Centre, and the Sustainable Mobility and Transport Technological Park of Valenciennes were visited.
