New Leadmind functionality: optimising train energy efficiency for a more sustainable mobility

LeadMind facilitates the definition of energy saving initiatives thanks to a daily monitoring, management and control for a more sustainable mobility. With it, the energy expenditure of each train is known, we quantify the benefit of the potential initiatives and evaluate associated economic savings.

Driving strategies: The driving mode directly affects energy consumption. LeadMind allow users to locate the most efficient driving profiles for each section based on real driving data. In the results, there may be differences of up to 15% between the most and least efficient. Always ensuring safety first and fluid driving for passenger comfort, it allows users to analyze and visualize potential savings.

Catenary receptivity: This functionality enables control over all the energy that is burned in the resistances and quantifying it by sections. Therefore, savings can be estimated for storing this energy or not.

Out of service train energy: This last option analyses the consumption of trains not in service, in the workshop or circulating without passengers, quantifying how much and when they consume that energy .
