Siemens Mobility will renew the signaling system of Line 7A of Madrid Metro. The activities included in this project, with a 36-month execution period, involve the replacement of the signaling and train protection system of Line 7A of Madrid Metro with one compatible with the rest of the Metro lines, as well as with the onboard equipment in the fleet of wide gauge trains.
In general terms, it includes the implementation of new WESTRACE MKII interlockings, progressive renewal of track equipment, the ATP/ATO-DTG protection system, and a new speed limitation manager.
