Sener’s Respira® solution has been granted a National Utility Model

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office recognizes Sener’s Digital Innovation team for its technological capacity with the granting of a National Utility Model for the Respira Artificial Intelligence System for the next 10 years. This concession gives the right of exclusive exploitation in Spain of this advanced Ventilation Control System for metro infrastructures.

Respira is an artificial intelligence system that has been in operation since 2020 in the Barcelona Metro with extraordinary results, which have had a direct impact on improving environmental conditions (thermal comfort and air quality) for transport users and saving 1.7 million euros per year in energy consumption.
