FGV has awarded Stadler Valencia the contract for the supply of 16 TRAMLINK trams to become part of the Metrovalencia and TRAM d’Alacant fleets. The contract provides for a possible extension of up to 12 additional trams, in two lots of six units. FGV’s modern 4500 series trams will be fully accessible, with more capacity than the current trams, reserved areas for PRM, as well as spacious multipurpose areas next to the doors.
The TRAMLINK is the multi-articulated, 100% low-floor LRV family of Stadler. They feature innovative real axle bogies that provide a smooth, quiet ride and maximum seating capacity above the bogies, without the need for ramps or steps. Their barrier-free, bright, pleasant and tailor-made passenger compartments ensure comfortable and safe journeys and a great travel experience, contributing to higher use of public transport.
Recently, local operators in Lausanne and Geneva have also chosen TRAMLINKs to expand and improve the mobility offer in their respective cities.
