As part of the government’s Urban Transport Investment Plan for the city of Santiago, a programme was drawn up for the development of the Santiago Metro network. The scheme includes, among other projects, the construction of Line 7, which runs entirely underground and consists of six sections.
Since March 2022, TPF GETINSA EUROESTUDIOS carries out the Technical inspection of construction works on Sections 5 and 6 of Line 7 of the Santiago Metro system. The assignment covers the supervision of the works undertaken by the civil engineering contractors in charge of the construction of shafts, galleries and tunnels. Some of the most significant works comprise six station shafts, five construction shafts, one ventilation shaft, main and secondary galleries as well as 7,560 m of tunnel.
