One of the objectives of the CAF Rail Services Equipment and Components Area is to be able to lead the CAF Group’s service response through an Area with a clear vocation for service and customer orientation.
This challenge has resulted in an operational improvement project in the Refurbishment and Accident Repair business line; and a project to improve productivity in the Equipment and Components Maintenance business line focused on the maintenance lines for wheelsets and brake systems.
Both projects have achieved a clear positive impact on aspects such as competitiveness, quality, lead time, safety, flexibility and know-how. Promoting in turn, a cultural change in the management of operations that allows more people to be involved.
The ultimate goal is to be able to ensure the availability, reliability, safety and sustainability of rail vehicles, providing quality and innovative solutions to our customers.
