Through its collaboration with the NGO Cesal, which promotes the human development of the most disadvantaged people in the world, the Transport area of Thales Spain has once again launched a solidarity action during the Christmas event it organises annually for its professionals in Madrid.
Thales has been collaborating with this NGO for more than 10 years, among other actions in the Christmas solidarity event, where it has been the beneficiary of various actions to collect food or toys depending on the need of the moment. In 2023, this collaboration has been reinforced, once again launching a collection of toys, books and dolls.
Each attendee of the event was invited to participate with a solidarity gift, destined to brighten the Christmas of those children whose families are experiencing financial difficulties.
The solidarity of Thales Transport employees made it possible to collect 400 toys, board games, dolls, books, etc. in this last edition. All these gifts were added to the “Te invito a cenar” programme, an initiative organised by different entities which was attended, as every year, by more than 1,000 people without resources. At this event, families facing difficulties had the opportunity to celebrate Christmas in a special way.
