Volunteers from the Thales Transport area on Corporate Solidarity Day

Corporate solidarity day contributes to the sdgs of zero hunger, reduced inequalities and partnerships for the goals.

Organised by the organisation Cooperación Internacional, this day aims to promote and facilitate the social participation of companies through corporate volunteering. In 2023, 440 volunteers joined this initiative in 9 Spanish cities.

Thales promoted a leisure activity in Madrid with children and young people with intellectual disabilities from an association of people with special educational needs (Asociación Madrileña de Personas con Necesidades Educativas Especiales (AMPNEE).

The volunteer team shared a morning last October at the skiing and other sports facilities in Xanadu, where they enjoyed cooperative activities and games.

Since 2007, the Companies Solidarity Day has seen the collaboration of 191 companies, almost 11,000 volunteers, 165 charities and more than 51,900 direct participants.

Corporate Solidarity Day contributes to the SDGs of zero hunger, reduced inequalities and partnerships for the goals.

This action is part of the different initiatives of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility plan, specifically for the fulfilment of SDG 10 on reducing inequalities.
